MCCORDSVILLE — Officials with the McCordsville Police Department say a 23-year-old female was accidentally shot in the foot early Sunday morning in the Sagebrook neighborhood near CR 700 West and CR 600 North.
The McCordsville Police Department was called to Community North Hospital in Indianapolis after the victim was driven to the hospital. The victim is in stable condition.
The firearm discharge occurred outside near North Rosewood Drive and West Rosewood Drive at approximately 2:30 a.m. Officials with the MPD are asking if anyone has any information or outside video footage in the area to contact them. The incident remains under investigation.
