McCORDSVILLE — The town of McCordsville is sponsoring a Clean-Up Day for town residents from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 10 at the McCordsville Volunteer Fire Department 7580 N. Form St.
The town will provide heavy trash and e-waste disposal and shredding services on site for town residents.
Those bringing materials are asked to have proof of McCordsville residency to use the services.
Examples of accepted heavy trash items include green waste, yard clippings, limbs, construction and demolition waste and small furniture.
Examples of accepted e-waste items include printers, monitors and televisions.
Items that won’t be accepted include tires, paints, solvents, oils, greases, pesticides, fluorescent lamps, batteries, flammable and explosive materials, refrigerators and freezers.
