HANCOCK COUNTY — Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation will offer free meals through the federal Summer Food Service Program over the coming months.
Children ages 18 and under can receive five free breakfasts and five free lunches on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 14 through July 19, except for the week of July 5. Children do not have to be a Mt. Vernon student, and there are no income restrictions.
Pickups will be at Fortville Elementary School, 8414 N. County Road 200W, Fortville. Enter through Door 13 and come to the cafeteria.
Parents can pick up their children’s meals for them. Staff will do its best to accommodate all dietary restrictions.
