Take an online hula-hooping class
ONLINE — Flow Therapy for Culture (flowtherapyfortheculture.org) will offer an online Introduction to Hula Hooping class from 7 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 20. Participants will learn the basics of hula hooping, waist hooping and some beginner hoop tricks from Due Charm, Founder of Flow Therapy for the Culture. The class is repeated each Wednesday. Tickets are $10 each available at flowtherapyfortheculture.org/events.
Make a glass bowl with Kiln Creations
BROAD RIPPLE — Kiln Creations, 6511 Ferguson St., will host a glass coral bowl workshop at 4 p.m. on Jan. 16. The $45 non-refundable registration fee allows participants to craft an 8-inch coral bowl with a choice of colors and designs. The class is limited to eight participants. Indiana Heritage Fellowship calls for nominations
INDIANA — The Indiana Heritage Fellowship Award seeks nominations of traditional artists who have made outstanding contributions to their artistic tradition and to their community. The award honors an individual’s long-term achievement within an art form that is rooted in community life in Indiana. Recipients of this award will receive an honorarium of $1,000 and an art prize.
