GREENFIELD — Indianapolis-based band Black Orchid will rock Snappers Bar & Grill, 1514 N. State St., Greenfield, from 8 p.m. to midnight on Jan. 9. Black Orchid plays rock and dance hits from the 70’s to today covering artists such as Heart, Journey, Styx, Kansas, Pink and Boston. No cover charge. Food service is available. INDIANAPOLIS — Fort Harrison State Park, 6000 N. Post Road, and the Museum of 20th Century Warfare will host a Battle of the Bulge re-enactment from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 9. The event will be a rolling battle re-enactment that will move to various locations in the park through the day. It will begin with a safety and authenticity formation at 9 a.m. outside building 702 in the Camp Glenn area with the first skirmish taking place around 10:30 a.m. Guides will be on hand to direct visitors to appropriate viewing locations depending on their arrival time. The final skirmish will take place in the Camp Glenn area around 2 p.m. Re-enactors will be available at times to ask questions and inspect their uniforms and equipment.
