Theatre company presents production of ‘Joseph’

GREENFIELD — Ricks-Weil Theatre Company opens its production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 2 at H.J. Ricks Center for the Arts, 122 W. Main St. This family-friendly show recounts the biblical story of Joseph and his 11 brothers, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. The show runs weekends through Aug. 11; Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday shows are at 2:30 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are available for $13 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, at ricksweiltheatrecompany.seatyourself.biz or by cash or check one hour before curtain at the Ricks box office. Benjamin Harrison home presents full-length thriller

INDIANAPOLIS — Don’t just watch a thriller. Live through it as Candlelight Theatre presents “Night Watch” by Lucille Fletcher weekends through July 21 at Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, 1230 N. Delaware St. This full-length play is complete with candlelight, historical artifacts and the ambiance of President Harrison’s original furnishings. Be a part of the mystery as Elaine Wheeler paces the living room of her Manhattan townhouse, troubled by unsettling memories and vague fears. For a moment her gaze catches something in the window across the way, and she screams when she thinks sees the body of a dead man. The police find nothing, and her husband believes she is on the verge of a breakdown.
