Wesley Judy, age 93, of Morristown, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born in Owenton, KY on March 28, 1925 to Owen and Mallie (Lathram) Judy. Wesley married Gladys Wanda (Howell) on April 16, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was a baker at Kroger Bakery in Indianapolis for 42 years before retiring in 1987. Wesley was a member of Hancock Reformed Baptist Church. He adored everything baseball, especially the Cincinnati Reds. He was very instrumental in creating New Pal Youth League. He enjoyed hunting, gardening vegetables, and singing old Country music. He was known as a good story teller. Most of all Wesley loved spending time with his family and being a grandpa.

Wesley is survived by his sons, Gary D. (Maryann) Judy of Easton, Maryland, Ron W. Judy of Greenfield, and Dennis R. (Kathryn) Judy of New Palestine; daughter, Denise (Guy) Stricker of New Palestine; daughter-in-law, Beth Judy of Greenfield; 11 grandchildren, Garry C. (Susan) Judy, Judy (Bryan) Hamrock, Rachel (Michael) Oertel, Laura (Ryan) VanTreese, Darcy Stricker, Greg (Brittany) Judy, Mike Judy, Kent (fiancee, Lauren) Judy, Brett (Dana) Judy, Scott Judy, and David Judy; 10 great-grandchildren, Phillip Judy, Rebecca Judy, Hannah Judy, Ava Oertel, Piper Oertel, Amos Oertel, Grayson Hamrock, Delaney Hamrock, Ethan Judy, and Owen Judy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Owen and Mallie Judy; wife, Gladys Wanda Judy; son, Mark S. Judy; brothers, Arlen, Ray, Carl, Howard, Owen Jr.; twin brother, Leslie; and sister, Mary Lou Webster.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Hancock Reformed Baptist Church, 944 E. Davis Road, Greenfield, IN 46140. Reverend Wayne Scott will be officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.
