Vivian E. Best, 90, Middletown, died on August 10, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor Middletown. She was born on August 21, 1925, in Anderson.
Vivian is survived by her daughter, Joanna Roberts of Sea Bright, N.J.; son, Joseph E. “Gene” (Alice) Best of Middletown; son-in-law, Steve Psikula of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Best, on April 30, 1990; daughter, Judy Kay Psikula; mother, Bertha Nelle(Hasty) Makepeace, and her father, Willard Makepeace.
Visitation was held from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, August 14, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services were at 10 a.m., Monday, August 15, at the funeral home with Pastor Walt Weaver Jr. officiating. Burial took place in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
