Billy J. "Bill" Boggs, age 75, of Spiceland, passed away Friday, April

8, 2011, at Henry County Hospital. He was born Aug. 26, 1935, in

Welchburg, Ky., to the late Luther and Mamie (Wilson) Boggs.

He retired in 1997 from Roll Coater in Greenfield following 22 years

of service. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and traveling. Bill loved

spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Aileen Boggs of Spiceland;

children, Dianne (husband, Tom) Vickers of Winchester, Ky., Michael

(wife, Susan) Boggs, Mark (wife, Dodie) Boggs, Beth Boggs-Clendening,

and Bradford Boggs all of Spicleand; grandchildren, Kyle, Sean,

Audrey, Rachel, Hanna, Jacob and Abbigail Boggs, Kate Clendening, and

Sarah Vickers; sisters, Lula Wells, Helen Gillam, Lois Wininger and

June McGeorge; brothers, Alfred Boggs, Fred Boggs and Gene Boggs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ted

Boggs.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
