John E. Morris, 59, of Indianapolis, died on Feb. 13, 2012. Born on May 10, 1952, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Maynard and Wanda (Beatty) Morris.
Surviving him are his uncle, Allan Norris of Indianapolis; aunt, Yvonne Perry of McKeesport, PA; and many cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brother, Dan Morris.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cumberland Christian Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Tom Scott officiating. There will be no graveside services. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary of Greenfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Cumberland Christian Church, 12032 East Washington Street, Cumberland, IN 46229-2971.
