Jane Ann Brizendine, 82, of Bedford and former resident of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at IU Bedford Hospital, Bedford. She was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Anderson, Ind. to the late John V. and Leona Jane (Simmonds) Miller.
She was office assistant for SS Krege, Greenfield, and a housewife. She was member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church, and its Women’s Society and Prayer Group. She was an avid reader and loved to garden.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Raymond Brizendine of Bedford; son, Mark A. (Vanessa) Brizendine of Greenfield; daughter, Marcie (Rick) Davis of Bedford; 6 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven R. Brizendine; brothers, William Miller and Donald Miller.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday March 7, 2012, at the funeral home.
