Saundra Sue (Wells) McGauley, 65, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012, at Methodist Hospital. Born on Oct. 3, 1946, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Esther (Wilhoit) Wells. She married Scott McGauley on April 19, 1975.
Saundra and her husband, Scott, co-owned McGauley Realty in Greenfield since 1994; she was also a Realtor for Realty World, F.C. Tucker and Beatty Realty where she served as the manager of the Greenfield branch. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, National Association of Realtors, Indiana Association of Realtors, and MIBOR.
Surviving her are her husband, Scott McGauley of Greenfield; children, Kevin L. McGauley of Indianapolis, Kelly (Ted) Munden of Greenfield, Kathryn McGauley of New York, and Keith (Laura) McGauley of Greenfield; siblings, Laura (Jim) Gregory of Fillmore, Bob Wells of Greenfield, Jesse (Susie) Cochran of Indianapolis, and Wiley (Terri) Brown of Barbourville, Kentucky; and her 4 Doll Babies, Emma, Andrew and Ali Munden, and Gwen McGauley.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Benjamin and Esther Wells; brothers, Jimmy, Mason, Lee, and Carlos; and sister, Pauline.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 14, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 15, at 1 p.m. at the mortuary. Loral Tansy and Alex McGauley will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
