Earl V. Milhon, 87, of Greenfield, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born on Dec. 29, 1926, in Hazelwood, Ind., as the son of James William and Maude Beryl (Johnson) Milhon.
He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
He married Margaret “Peggy” Louise (Orner) in Dec. 29, 1950.
Earl is survived by his wife, Peggy Milhon of Greenfield; son, Karl Milhon of Clancy, Mont.; and daughter, Vanesa Milhon of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James William and Maude Beryl (Johnson) Milhon; sister, Pauline Fish; and brothers, Edwin Milhon and Sylvan Milhon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Hancock County Humane Society, 214 E Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140.
