HANCOCK COUNTY — A McCordsville man turned himself in to police Friday after being accused of child molestation.
Jeremiah D. Tuttle, 31, was charged Feb. 17 in connection with a single incident of inappropriate touching that took place in McCordsville late last year, police said.
The man fondled a boy, court records state. The incident took place between Oct. 1 and Dec. 11, at which time the incident was reported to the McCordsville Police Department, according to the Hancock County Prosecutor’s office.
A report was filed with the Hancock County Department of Child Services on Jan. 27. A copy of that report was forwarded to the McCordsville Police Department.
Tuttle turned himself in Friday, posted $1,000 bond and was released from the Hancock County Jail. His initial hearing is set for Thursday in Hancock Circuit Court.
