Business plans open house event
GREENFIELD — PuroClean, a business specializing in water and fire damage restoration, mold removal and bio-hazard cleanup, has scheduled an open house for a new location in Greenfield.
The event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. April 22 at the business, 625 S. State St., will include lunch, a ribbon cutting with the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce, as well as snacks and drinks.
Employees will lead demonstrations and tours throughout the day, and BBQ’n Fools, a Greenfield business, will cater the event.
Shredding events set at area bank
HANCOCK COUNTY — Greenfield Banking Company is conducting a series of free shredding events to encourage residents to safely dispose of documents containing personal information in coming months.
Only paper products are accepted, and residents must limit materials to one large lawn and leaf trash bag full of documents.
All events run from 9 a.m. to noon.
The events will take place as follows:

June 11: 51 N. Meridian Rd., Greenfield
June 25: 12140 E. Washington St., Cumberland
July 23: 1920 N. State St., Greenfield
Aug. 20: 7363 N. County Road 600W, McCordsville

Get rid of old tires, electronics
GREENFIELD — Hancock County Solid Waste Management District will conduct a collection event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 23 at the Covance Laboratories campus, 371 S. Meridian Road, Greenfield.
