GREENFIELD — Friends of the Hancock County Public Library is collecting gently used books, DVDs, music CDs and video game discs at the Hancock County Public Library to raise funds for programming at the library.

Donations may be dropped off at the library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 10.

Those donating should use the side delivery entrance at the northeast corner of the building; ring the bell, and a volunteer will come to assist. Due to limited space, donations can only be made on the specified date and times.

Items for sale may be found on shelves near the entrances of both Hancock County Public Library branches, in Greenfield and New Palestine. Most prices range from 50 cents to $2. The Friends now accept credit and debit cards as well as cash.
