“The Little Mermaid” splashes into Eastern Hancock

CHARLOTTESVILLE — Eastern Hancock High School presents Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” Feb. 14, 15 and 16 at Eastern Hancock High School, 10320 E. County Road 250 N. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7 p.m. The Sunday matinee is at 2 p.m. Relive the story of Ariel, the mermaid who trades her voice for legs so she can be with the man she loves on land. Limited performances of “Sweeney Todd” at the Palladium

CARMEL – The Actors Theatre of Indiana and the Carmel Symphony Orchestra present two performances of “Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street” at 8 p.m. Feb. 21 and 22 at the Palladium, 355 City Center Drive. Stephen Sondheim’s musical of the infamous tale of an unjustly exiled barber who returns to London to seek revenge on the judge who framed him. INDIANAPOLIS — “Saturday Night Fever” at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, 9301 Michigan Road, captures the historic flavor of disco-mania in New York City. The story, based on Norman Wexler’s 1977 film, is told through the eyes of a talented, streetwise kid from Brooklyn who attempts to escape his dead-end life through dancing, Powered by the chart-topping hits of the BeeGees, “Saturday Night Fever” explores relationships on and off the dance floor with humor, conflict and swagger.
