FORTVILLE — A county woman plans a dress giveaway ahead of prom time.
Jennifer Sweet will host a pop-up dress shop from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Mt. Vernon High School cafeteria, 8112 N. County Road 200W, Fortville.
Those who shop are asked to bring a nonperishable food item, which will be donated to Angel Connection Food Pantry in McCordsville. Those who would like to donate a dress and choose a dress are asked to contact Sweet, who will arrange for them to arrive early.
