Veterans plan Vietnam memorial ceremony
GREENFIELD — Area veterans plan a ceremony to honor a county resident killed in action in Vietnam 50 years ago.
The event honoring Marine Private First Class Vaughn “Skip” L. Brown is planned for 6 p.m. July 8 at the Vietnam Veterans Park at the northeast side of the intersection of State Street and Davis Road.
Brown of New Palestine was killed in action in Quang Tri, Vietnam on July 8, 1968.
