Curry’s Chapel offers chicken and noodles

GREENFIELD — Curry’s Chapel United Methodist Church will serve a chicken noodle dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. April 21 at the church, 3488 N. County Road 375E.

Revival services at Apostolic Pentecostal

GREENFIELD — Revival services begin at 6:30 p.m. April 15 at Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1202 E. Fifth St.

Services continue at 7 p.m. April 16 to 18.

McCordsville church to serve potato bar

McCORDSVILLE — McCordsville United Methodist Church will serve dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. today at the church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville.

The menu features a baked potato bar and a salad bar. Donations will be accepted.

The church also will serve breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. April 21. The menu features biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes.

Gospel Heart Strings set to sing at church

KNIGHTSTOWN — The Gospel Heart Strings from Clarksburg will be featured at the monthly gospel sing set for 6 p.m. April 21 at Knightstown Church of God, 405 North St.

Spud Supper slated for Mt. Lebanon church

GREENFIELD — The annual Spud Supper is set for 4 to 6:30 p.m. today at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 3447 S. State Road 9.

The menu will feature a baked potato bar with toppings, salads, desserts and beverages. Hot dogs and carry-out also will be available. Donations will be accepted, with proceeds used for missions.

Fellowship of Churches offers scholarship

NEW PALESTINE — New Palestine Fellowship of Churches will give a $500 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who attends or is a member or constituent of one of the churches affiliated with the Fellowship of Churches.

Churches in the group are Community Christian Church, Cross of Grace Lutheran Church, New Palestine Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), New Palestine United Church/His Place on East Main Street and New Palestine United Methodist Church on Gem Road.

Selection criteria will include participation in church activities, community involvement and scholarship, as well as special emphasis on a statement of how faith affects the student’s daily life.

Applications may be picked up from a student’s minister or from that church’s office. Applications are also available at New Palestine High School. Applicants do not have to attend the school.

Each candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and show evidence of enrollment.

Application deadline is May 1. Turn in applications to one’s minister or church office or to the guidance department at New Palestine High School.
