HANCOCK COUNTY — A number of scholarships are available for Hancock County residents through Tri Kappa Sorority, Upsilon Chapter including four $1,000 scholarships for graduating high school seniors and one $500 scholarship for adult female students. The scholarships assist deserving students in securing higher education. Scholarships must be used at an accredited college in the state of Indiana or at an acceptable technical or vocational school in Indiana.
High school seniors should contact their high school guidance counselors to receive an application to apply. Applications for the high school scholarships must be postmarked on or before March 20, 2018 to the Tri Kappa Scholarship Chair listed on the application.
Female adults, 25 years or older, wanting to attend an Indiana school of higher education are eligible for the Strawmyer-Pickett Memorial Scholarship.
