Former Marauders to be honored
All former Mt. Vernon Marauders girls basketball players, who have scored 1,000 points in their careers or more, will be honored during a special ceremony this week.
The milestone Marauders will be recognized at Friday night’s girls basketball game against Rushville between the junior varsity and varsity games at approximately 7:15 p.m. The community is invited to join in the celebration of these remarkable players’ athletics accomplishments.
The honorees are: Liz Skinner, Barb Skinner, Jenny (Davis) Moore, April (Kirby) Lemmon, Johna Goff, Alissa (Kirby) Hankee, Cassie (Bills) Brumfield, Jessica Privett, Jessica Brown and Sydney Shelton.
