GREENFIELD
Judy M. (Black) Schneider, 78, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 11, 1939 in Indianapolis as the daughter of Edward O. and Mary M. (Goodin) Black.
Judy married John H. Schneider on March 14, 1960 in Beech Grove.
Being a mother was Judy’s passion and she adored all her pets. She loved horseback riding, playing euchre and listening to music, especially Country and Elvis. Her children remember her as always dancing around the house with them.
Judy is survived by her sons, John H. Schneider II of Greenfield and Jerrold M. Schneider of Terre Haute; daughter, Jodel L. Jarrett of Greenfield; two grandsons, Timothy P. Lawson and Joshua H. Schneider; and one granddaughter, Melissa M.J. Schlicter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Schneider; parents, Edward O. and Mary M. Black; and sister, Margaret M. Haltom.
A private graveside was held at New Palestine Cemetery. Pastor Fred Girdwood officiated the service.
