GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Retired Teachers Association held its first meeting of the current school year Sept. 13. President Karen Lee welcomed new Area 7 Director Philip Boley. Boley is a former Greenfield-Central High School principal and a Hancock County resident. Tony Breeze presented the program on the Indy Veterans Honor Flights, which provides tours of Washington D.C. for veterans of World War II and the Korean War.
The association’s next meeting will be 11 a.m. Nov. 8 at the Greenfield Ponderosa, 1585 N. State St. All retired Hancock County teachers or retired teachers living in Hancock County are welcome.
The Hancock County Retired Teachers Association is a local affiliate of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association, established in 1950.
