INDIANAPOLIS
Mary E. Kleeman, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away September 20, 2017. She was born December 14, 1927 in Gaston, IN, to the late David Henry and Ethel Idell Bragg.
Mary was a graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School. She married Robert L. Kleeman June 14, 1947, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a longtime member of Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ; and she loved traveling with her husband.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Robert L. Kleeman; children, Robert Kleeman, Jr. (Brenda), Kathy Bentley (Bill), Carolyn Kleeman and Linda Van Osdol (Michael); eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ and/or the American Heart Association.
