FORTVILLE — The Mt. Vernon Education Foundation will host a 5K and one-mile Color Run on Sept. 30.
Both races begin and end at Mt. Vernon High School, 8112 N. County Road 200W; the 5K begins at 8:30 a.m., and the one-mile family run begins at 9 a.m.
Interested participants can register for $35 for the 5K or for $25 for the family run at mtvernonfoundation.org under events.
Family four-pack registration is available for $55.
Race packets can be picked up at the high school from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 29.
Funds from the event will go to the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation for grants for teachers for classroom use.
