Blanche Berniece Olson
Blanche Berniece Olson, 92, of Greenfield, passed away July 12, 2017. Born July 21, 1924, in Martin County, Indiana, the daughter of the late, Gus and Blanche (Fields) Bridges.
She was a homemaker and had a beauty shop in her home for a number of years. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, was a wonderful cook, and loved to roller skate. She was a lifetime member of the SVEA Lodge in Indianapolis and a longtime member of Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church.
Survived by her daughter, Rhonda Pleak (Dale) of Greenfield; and son, Robert Olson (Kimberly) of Oaklandon, Ind.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Olson.
A Celebration of Life will be held 6 p.m., Wednesday July 19, at Greenfield Christian Church, 23 N. East St., Greenfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
