Quilt Guild monthly meeting celebrates ‘Christmas Quilts in July’
GREENFIELD — Darlene Griffith will present a program entitled “Christmas Quilts in July” at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the monthly meeting of the Common Threads Quilt Guild at Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church, 3179 N. County Road 600W. Immediately following the July meeting, Griffith will offer a workshop on a no-sew folded fabric Christmas ornament. Kits are available for $10 each. Please bring a sack lunch.
KidsPlay children’s theatre to audition for ‘Sahara Nights’
GREENFIELD — KidsPlay children’s theatre will hold auditions for third- through eighth-graders for its fall production of “Sahara Nights” by Wade Bradford from 6 to 9 p.m. August 8 and 9. First-time auditioners should come prepared with an audition monologue of one minute or less. Auditions will be held at the “KidsPlay Dungeon” on the lower level of the Memorial Building at 98 East North St. in Greenfield. Color card workshop allows participants to be creative
