Psi Iota Xi chapter elects new officers

GREENFIELD — The Upsilon chapter of Psi Iota Xi installed a new slate of officers in April at its annual anniversary dinner. The anniversary dinner celebrates the chapter’s founding April 2, 1920.

Katie Ottinger will serve as the chapter’s president. Phyllis Arthur is conductress, Carolyn Coffin is corresponding secretary, Dianne Hoover is advisor, Lori McCarter is treasurer, and Deidre Patty is recording secretary.

Psi Iota Xi, founded in 1897 in Muncie, is a women’s philanthropic organization with chapters throughout the Midwestern United States. Psi Iota Xi chapters are focused on raising money and offering volunteer service to improve the quality of life in their communities. Philanthropic priorities are speech and hearing and art, music and literature.

The Upsilon chapter looks forward to welcoming four new members this summer.
