Ethel V. Kingery, 94, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017. She was born April 25, 1923, in Surgoinsville, Tenn. to the late James H. and Bertie L. (Eaton) Vaughn.
Ethel was a member of Mohawk United Methodist Church, had worked at Eli Lilly and was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by daughters, Charlotte (Ted) Coil of Fortville, Nina R. (Dr. John, DDS) Roberts of Connersville and Rosie Kendrick of Carthage; five grandchildren, Ty (Justina) Coil, Robby Kendrick, Reggie Kendrick, Megan Roberts and Jordan (Tara) Roberts; great-grandchildren, Cash Allen Coil, Cruz Allen Coil, Carson Gabriel Roberts and Colton Grady Roberts; former son-in-law, Rick Kendrick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin H. Kingery, whom she married July 19, 1941; brothers, Floyd, Howard, Robert, Ray, Farley and Claude.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. following the visitation. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk United Methodist Church 2045 W 400 N, Greenfield, IN 46140.
