Area theater company to audition for ‘Annie’ show

Pet portrait workshop offered at Eiteljorg

INDIANAPOLIS – In conjunction with the Eiteljorg Museum’s “Dogs: Faithful and True” exhibit, artist Sheila Jackson will guide painters to create a portrait of your pet at 1 p.m. May 12 at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, 500 W. Washington St. No previous painting experience is necessary. The workshop is $20 for museum members and $25 for non-members. Register by calling 317-275-1310. Last chance auditions held for ‘Drowsy Chaperone’

GREENFIELD — The CrazyLake Acting Co. will hold one final day of auditions for the musical, “The Drowsy Chaperone” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Memorial Building, 98 E. North St. The first half includes choreography and vocal auditions, and the second half will be reading from the script. No audition monologues are required, but auditioners should come prepared to sing 30-60 seconds of a song a cappella. Parts are available for five adult females, nine adult males and numerous supporting roles. Performance dates are July 13, 14, 15, 16, 21 and 22.
