Carolyn Kay Coop went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2017. Carolyn was born on March 25, 1944, in Jabez, Ky., the daughter of Rufus E. and Elsie M. (Smith) Johnson.
She graduated from Hancock Central H.S. She was the life of the party no matter where, or with whom she found herself. She loved her family, her beloved dog Elli, her music, her friends, games, boating, and sports. She retired from Navistar Intl. after 30 years service.
She is survived by her husband, Billie E. Coop; brother, Freddie (Maria) Johnson of Florida; children, Christopher L. Noblitt and Staci K. Kitchen; stepson, Billy E. Coop; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; brother, Larry K. Johnson; and beloved grandchild, Michael L. Noblitt.
Visitation will be held from Noon to 2 p.m. on April 29th, at Crown Hill Cemetery’s Gothic Chapel. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. All are welcome to come and share memories.
