David Lee Renn, 74, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at his residence. He was born on July 29, 1942, in Indianapolis as the son of Leo Renn and Anna Louise Reed.

He attended Franklin Township for two years and then graduated from Scecina High School in 1960. David married Tina Marie (McCurdy) on June 19, 1993, in Patriot, Ind.

He was the manager for Radz Video in Indianapolis for over 20 years before retiring in 2008. Mr. Renn was a member of Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge in Greenfield and was a life time member of the Knights of Columbus in Indianapolis. He was known as, “Mr. Fix It!” David enjoyed keeping up with news, boating, taking trips to Arizona and going on cruises. He also loved being with his family and friends at the river.

David is survived by his wife, Tina Renn of Greenfield; daughter, Sherri Jones of Peoria, Az.; sisters, Sharon Furr of Beech Grove and JoAnn Bright of Monrovia, Ind.; brother, Joe Modlin of Beech Grove; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Renn; and son, Perry Renn.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1 p.m. Pastor Ken Dalton will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
