Police investigating fatal motorcycle crash

    GREENFIELD — An Indianapolis man was killed early Monday when he was struck by a semi-tractor trailer after crashing his motorcycle, according to police.

    Adam Curtis, 36, of Indianapolis, was riding along on State Road 9 early Monday when he struck two deer that crossed into the roadway, police said.

    Curtis was thrown from his motorcycle and landed in the middle of the street. He was then struck by an oncoming truck, police said.

    The accident happened around 2 a.m. Monday in the 4600 block of State Road 9, just north of County Road 500S.
