Roger Lee Macy, 72, of Bloomington, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at IU Health Bloomington Hospice House. He was born on September 12, 1944 in, Greenfield, the son of Earl and Ruth Macy.
Roger worked on Apollo VII, VIII, VIIII, X, and XI, and with Sperry Univac. He retired from  Crane Naval Base. Roger enjoyed watching racing at the Bloomington Motor Speedway, and following his retirement, built a scaled replica of Noah’s Ark.
Roger was a loving husband to wife, Kiyomi Macy; patient and kind father to, Kenneth Macy and Marcia (Mark) Ross; proud grandfather to granddaughters, Macy and Zoey Ross; sisters, Betty (Wyatt) Brumett and Pat (Kenneth) Butler; and brother, Tom (Dottie) Macy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, at Allen Funeral Home and  Crematory, 4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington.
