William Louis “Butch” Morez, 64, of Fortville, passed from this life into the waiting arms of his Savior on February 25, 2017. Butch was born December 3, 1952, the son of Louis Morez and Josephine (Johnson) Morez, in Pana, Ill.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tena (Richmond) Morez; daughter, Katelyn Marie Morez of Fortville; mother, Jo Morez of Pana, Ill.; sister, Diane (David) Slater of Pana, Ill.; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nephews and nieces. In addition, Butch is survived by his father-in-law, Gene (Ella) Richmond of Carthage and sister-in-law, Lisa (Paul) Christenson of Knightstown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Morez; his mother-in-law, Judith Richmond; and infant son, Jason Louis Morez.
Visitation will be from to 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, at Seals Funeral Home in Fortville. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
