Church offers session for senior citizens
GREENFIELD — Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Greenfield will have a new time for its Sing and Share time for Golden Living Nursing Home residents. At 5:30 p.m. the third Sunday of the month, the group will gather for singing and study, starting Feb. 19.
McCordsville church to serve breakfast
McCORDSVILLE — McCordsville United Methodist Church will serve a a community breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, 6247 W. Broadway.

AWANA Grand Prix racers compete
GREENFIELD — Children in the AWANA program at Brandywine Community Church raced in their AWANA Grand Prix on Feb. 4 at the church, 1551 E. New Road.
Winning trophies for best car design were Riley Williams, first; Jack Flink, second; and Emma Bogle, third.
Children raced against others in their age group. Winners in the Cubbies division were Ben Bruner, first; Zoey Turpin, second; and Bethany Wing, third.
Winners in the Sparks division were A.J. Strahm, first; Brooklyn Wing, second; and Zeke Settles, third.
Winners in the T&T division were Jenna Glad, first; Emma Bogle, second; and Gabe Hall, third.
Then the division winners raced each other, with Jenna Glad of T&T winning the overall prize.
Finally, adults raced their cars, with Sparks leader Karen Hummel winning the traveling piston trophy.

Furniture needed for local church outreach
GREENFIELD — A local furniture ministry needs donations of specific types of furniture and appliances that have run low in its warehouse.
St. Michael Catholic Church coordinates the furniture ministry, partnering with Love INC. In some categories, there is a waiting list for items.
These are the items sought:
Any bed frame — twin, full or queen
Full-size box spring — full
Mattresses — twin or full
Washers and dryers
Dressers or chests of drawers

Church card party set for Feb. 25
GREENFIELD — Mohawk United Methodist Church will offer a card party at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in the fellowship hall at the church, 2045 W. County Road 400N.
Celebration of song includes gospel tunes
KNIGHTSTOWN — Russell Van Winkle and Friends will sing at 6 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 18) as part of the monthly gospel sing at Knightstown Church of God, 405 North St.
