Teens can learn to finger-knit for fun
GREENFIELD — Teens are invited to learn a new skill: finger knitting — at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. No knitting needles are needed. Participants will make a scarf using their own fingers. Register at hcplibrary.org to attend this free workshop.
Murat Theatre in search of poster designs
INDIANAPOLIS — Artists are invited to create a poster design for “Motown The Musical” coming to the Murat Theatre at the Old National Center March 28 to April 2. The winning poster designs will be printed and featured in the lobby during the show. The winning artists receive two tickets to opening night and the grand prize winner receives $250. Hand-drawn, digitally designed or painted poster submissions must include the text “Motown The Musical, Murat Theatre at Old National Centre and March 28 _ April 2, 2017.” Artists should submit a JPEG image of the poster to [email protected] by Feb. 21.
