Calvin G. Hart, 81, of Greenfield, formerly of Indianapolis, died Thursday, February 2, 2017, at his home. He was born on December 6, 1935, in Russell Springs, Ky., as the son of George B. and Bertha M. (Wilson) Hart.
Calvin is survived by his wife, Bonnie S. Hart; daughters, Connie (Pat) Murray of McCordsville, Bertha “Bert” Wright of Greenfield and Michelle (Kevin Reasinger) Stuck of Whiteland; and six grandchildren.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertha Hart; son, Rodney Calvin Hart; brothers, Caleb, Okle “Rod”, George Jr. and Oval Hart; and sisters, Ona Hart, Mona Harris, Zona Wade, Thelma Dowell, Bernice Garner, Velice Cottongin and Nancy “Boo eye” Hughes.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, also at the mortuary. Pastor Archie Strong will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
