Mary Louise Guinn, 75, of Kennard, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born November 25, 1941, in Henry County to the late Richard H. and Maxine (Ray) Hiner.

Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister and was known to be free hearted with everyone. She was an area business woman and owned and operated the Sweet Shop in Greenfield for 46 years. Mary was an avid sports fan and cared for and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Kennard Christian Church, where she played the piano for many years and later attended Shirley Christian Church.

She is survived by four sons, Marland (Cherry) Guinn of Knightstown, Dennis (Julie) Henderson of Spiceland, Kenny (Norma Spiegal) Henderson of Shirley, and Monty (Tina) Guinn of Greenfield; son-in-law, Roger Clark of Shirley; 12 grandchildren, Mindi Lloyd, Matt and Andy Lloyd, Michael Guinn, Ericka Young, Jared Henderson, Jessie Bednarek, Zach Henderson, A J. Fairchild, McKinley Henderson, Amanda Garrison and Cameron Guinn; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ray (Penny) Hiner, Leila (Howard) Lewis, Robert (Andrea) Hiner; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley H. Guinn in 2007; and daughter, Mona Gail Clark.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 26, at the funeral home with Gary Sickle officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
