Second armed robbery reported at McCordsville gas station

MCCORDSVILLE — Police are seeking the public’s help in investigating the armed robbery of a McCordsville gas station.

Two masked black men entered the Village Pantry, 5964 W. Broadway St., McCordsville early Tuesday, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money, police said.

The first suspect was described as a thin-build black man standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, police said. He was wearing dark clothing, sunglasses, and a blue and orange baseball cap. He used a black bandanna to cover his face, police said.

The second suspect was described as a thin-build black male, standing between 5 feet 6 inches tall and 5 feet 8 inches tall, police said. He was wearing a brown long-sleeve shirt and dark pants. He used a black ski mask to cover his face, police said.

Tuesday’s incident was the second time this month the location has been robbed at gunpoint.

On Nov. 7, two men reportedly entered the gas station and threatened the clerk with a gun, according to reports. Both were arrested a few hours later and now face robbery charges in Hancock and Marion counties, records show.
