CHARLOTTESVILLE — Teachers and staff at Eastern Hancock High School knew principal David Pfaff is a history buff.
For Boss’s Day this year, teachers Michael and Jade Galyan wanted to do something special, so they collected about $1,000 total to help send him to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, known for the Gettysburg National Battlefield, said Debbie Grass, an employee at the high school.
Pfaff is a former history teacher but never had the chance to visit Gettysburg before, Grass said.
