GREENFIELD — The Blue River Longrifle Indoor Trade show runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds, 600 N. GREENFIELD — Start Thanksgiving Day with a 5K and one-mile fun run along the Pennsy Trail hosted by the Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department and sponsored by Hancock Regional Hospital. The event starts at 9 a.m. Nov. 24 at the Hancock County Memorial Building, 98 E. North St. Register online at greenfieldin.org. Cost $30 for the 5K and $25 for the Fun Run in November. Day-of-race registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and costs $35 for the 5K and $30 for the Fun Run the day of the event. Participants are invited to dress in costume — a turkey, a pilgrim, etc. — for a chance to win a prize. Proceeds from the race go towards the purchase of more outdoor workout equipment for the Pennsy Trail.

GREENFIELD — Guitarist Ray Kamalay presents a “Musical Flea Market” of entertainment at 7 p.m. November 10, at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. Instead of listening to the radio for the latest songs, Kamalay searched for music in antique stores and library archives. INDIANAPOLIS — The annual Christmas Gift and Hobby Show opens at 10 a.m. Wednesday and runs through 5 p.m. Sunday at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 E. 38th St. Admission is $12 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
