McCordsville United Methodist Church will have a wiener roast and Halloween party at 6 p.m. today at the church, 6247 W. Broadway. It features hot dogs, drinks, side dishes and desserts (bring a side dish or dessert if you are able, along with your own lawn chairs). There will be goodies for those who come in costume (nothing scary), activities and games. There also will be a pumpkin-carving contest with prizes for adults and older children; bring your own pumpkin and carving supplies.
