Dorothy A. Wills

Dorothy A. Wills, Indianapolis, loving and devoted wife and mother was taken to the Lord on September 9, 2016, at the age of 84. She was born in Indianapolis to the late James Ward and Zelma Kunkle Ward.

She married Larry L. Wills on May 15, 1953. Dorothy was a charter member of St. Simon Catholic Church, a volunteer for the Lunch Room Ladies, Bereavement Group, and a volunteer gym teacher and caregiver at the school. She enjoyed camping with her family at Versailles, Spring Mill, and Raccoon Lake as well as vacations in Naples, Fla. and Branson, Mo.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Larry L. Wills; daughters, Karen L. Kinder (Kevin), Patty A. Wills, and Mary E. Shaler (Joseph); son, Larry L. Wills II; grandsons, Kevin B. Kinder II (Hope) and Samuel J. Shaler; great-grandsons, Kevin Kinder III, Tobias Kinder, Nathan Kinder, Elliott Kinder and Conner Kinder, and a brother, James Ward, II.

A son, David J. Wills, preceeded her in death.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 13 at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, at St. Simon Catholic Church, 8155 Oaklandon Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46236.
