GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Courthouse plaza became the canvas for artists of all ages Saturday during the annual ChalkFest.

This year’s theme, Indiana’s bicentennial, challenged sidewalk chalk artists to create 3-by-3 images honoring elements of Hoosier history. Their work will remain on the plaza until Mother Nature washes it away.

The festival is co-sponsored by Greenfield Main Street and Hancock Arts.
