Lowell Gene Metz, 84, Shelbyville, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Community Hospital in Greenwood. Born in Shelbyville to Morris and Mabel Metz on December 23rd 1931.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Evangeline; daughter, Joni Susanne Braiman (Seth); son, Kurt Edmund Metz; brother, Kenneth Metz (Ruby) of Shelbyville, and daughter-in-law, Sharon Metz of Greenwood. Also, stepchildren Earl, Douglas, and Matthew Abrams of Indianapolis; two grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchilren and two great-stepgrandchildren.
Lowell was preceded in death by his mother and father, his first wife, Joanne and his eldest son, Kim Michael Metz.
