Ruth M. Goff, 99, Lapel, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on May 2, 1917, in Columbus, to Carl and Maude (Moore) Neal.
She is survived by two children, Jack C. (Sue) Goff of Greenfield, and Anita Goff Kirby of Lapel; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Horace Goff; two brothers, Homer Neal and Bill Neal; and one sister, Mary Neal.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main St., Lapel. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 11, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Glenn Knepp officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
