Entertainment on the Plaza to feature jazz

GREENFIELD — Entertainment on the Plaza presents Tom Wright & the Avenue Indy Jazz Quintet at 7 p.m. Friday at the Greenfield City Plaza, at the corner of State St. and Main St. Wright and company are regular performers at the Jazz Kitchen in Indianapolis. The Peanuts Movie at Family Film Festival

Trapper education course offered by DNR

GREENFIELD — Department of Natural Resources will present a two-day hunter education class from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., July 9 and 10 at the Greenfield Conservation Club, 1000 W. County Road 400N. Library to host Naptown Roller Girls

GREENFIELD — The Naptown Roller Girls roll into town at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. This league of female athletes will discuss the skill that flat-track roller derby requires and share their favorite books. Grade school kids can participate in an interactive derby demonstration.
