Local orchestra to play at the Plaza
GREENFIELD — Greenfield’s own Brandywine Wind will play at 7 p.m. Friday at the Greenfield City Plaza, at the corner of State Street and Main Street for Entertainment on the Plaza.

History Center offers free admission
INDIANAPOLIS — The Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, 450 W. Ohio St., will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 4, with free admission to the Indiana Experience.
From 5 to 9:30 p.m., the Indiana Historical Society will offer a special edition of its popular Concerts on the Canal series featuring the Indianapolis Municipal Band with patriotic tunes and marches. Also performing is the Tad Robinson Band. Visit indianahistory.org for more information.

Concert at church honors armed forces
GREENFIELD — The Agape Band Singers will honor America’s armed forces with an appreciation concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Philadelphia United Methodist Church, 2265 U.S. 40.
The event features free popcorn, soft drinks and prizes. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
